Moving your baby into their own bed can be quite a difficult task, however it is not impossible. Is your baby?s noisy wriggling or having your baby in your bed might be affecting your relationship? These might be good reasons to make the child sleep in their own bed. The younger the baby is, the easier?it will be. In fact sleeping on their own bed can take from days to weeks to months depending on how long he or she has been sleeping with the parent. Here are some neat tricks which must be shared with every parent.

Did you ever think of using baby waffle blankets? For a baby there is nothing better than snuggling up in a nice and cosy blanket. The waffle weave is rather effective since it provides a comfortable level of warmth. This is because the air circulation and ventilation in these blankets is rather efficient. Did you know that it is ideal for using all around the year?

The bedding is another factor which plays a very important role. I bought a hot pink lime green zebra bedding for my little angel, Liz. While keeping the fashion quotient in mind I did not forget on the following comfort factors:?

  • The size of the mattress was in sync with the bed
  • I thought it was a good idea to get a bedding that was firm since babies need a solid surface to sleep on
  • You can choose foam or coil. Usually they say that coil proves to be more firm
  • I realized after research that multi layer covers would prove to be most durable and comfortable too.

There were some other innovative things which I did while shifting Liz to her own bed. I used her favorite teddy bears and stuff animals all around the bed such that they she would be entertained. What about also keeping your t-shirt or blanket next to the baby such that they feel your presence around?
